Fun clues, greybeard. I don't know much about Gary Moore so I had to work 'em.
I'll try to get something up tonight or tomorrow.

Hope this one isn't too obvious. Didn't have much time...

I know you know the album.:-)
It spent a record '741 consecutive weeks (14 years) on the USA-based Billboard 200 Album Chart'.

I do know the album and I'm ashamed to say I don't have this in my library. I 'lost' my Mobile Fidelity vinyl when an old girlfriend and I split up. Sigh...
Now... I'm even more embarrassed to say I am having trouble identifying the song. Can I have the tiniest of clues?
Great timing, Boogie! I was just about to post the next clue.
The song opens with a (for that time) state of the art sound collage of cash registers ringing...and a classic bass riff...wait, that's 2 clues...
:-)

Everyone must be busy... I know I have been.
Money - Pink Floyd
Welcome back, Boogie, it's all yours.
Don
Thanks. You thought your riff was obvious. How about mine?
Boogie's Guess That Riff #49.
Man, that's like dunking on a 6ft. goal.
Is it "Sunshine of your Love" by Cream?
You are correct!
Yeah... I know. A slam dunk. Well... I put my mp3 player on random and this popped up. I realized I'd never learned this riff and it was pretty easy. Then checked my list of riffs and was surprised to find this was *NOT* on the list. Wow! How could I resist ;-)
Guess That Riff #12
Ok, hint time...
The lyrics to this song contain the name of Don Quixote's horse. The riff I played is the first guitar riff in the song, mirroring the bass riff that plays right before it.
Good clue. I had to do some hunting around but think I've got it. Unfortunately, no time to record a riff until Friday night or Saturday. Maybe someone else will hazard a guess.
Is it:
Cygnus X-1 Rush?
