The last riff featured a guitarist who was a "king" - this one features a singer who is a "prince".

This prince was actually kicked out of this band and replaced by an elf who wandered over the rainbow.

The guitarist is considered to be a Godfather of sorts, and even though he's famous for his guitar skills, he also played piano & flute on this song. Pretty impressive given the work accident and all.

an elf who wandered over the rainbow.

LOL; his cameo scene in "Pick of Destiny" had me rolling!

Anyway, I know this one now, but I did the prior riff -- anyone else wanna jump in here?

I still haven't seen that movie yet. Must change that.

Another clue: The album was released in 1971 & was a masterpiece of metal for the time. They kept it real.

Just did some heavy searching.

Black Sabbath - Solitude?

One chord is fine.
Two you're pushing it.
Three and you're into jazz.

Feels a bit James Gang meets Black Crowes ... sounds good, but I can't place it.

Clue time!
