Is it Killing Floor Howling Wolf?
Don
Yep
One chord is fine.
Two you're pushing it.
Three and you're into jazz.
Good stuff.
I'll try to get something posted by this evening.

Here's a quick one to keep things moving:

Hey Boxboy, I see you have a Godin guitar. How do you like it? I have a Detour, one of their low end models. Thinking about upgrading the pickups ... but otherwise it's a nicely made guitar.
Classic riff; I was thinking about doing that one. :)
Haha I know this one. However, I am going to let someone else get it.

Hey, Gabba,
The LG is a great guitar. Really good value for the money. Mine's the dual HB version with 5 way switching. The coil tap settings are pretty anemic so I just use it in HB modes. Still makes for a good 'general purpose' guitar.
Weighs a ton, though... :)

Since everyone seems to know it already, I'm kinda stumped for what clues to give.
The band's from California, but the song's about being born in a place far across America.
It was released as a B side of a single. Both the A and B sides reached #2 on the pop charts. According to Wiki, they never had a #1 hit; hard to believe.

Ok, I'll step up to the plate. Is it "Born on the Bayou" by CCR?

All yours, Dan.

I seem to be having technical difficulties with SoundClick at the moment. I thank you for you patients during this time.

Off a 1975 double album. I've been known to post a few riffs from this band.

Hmmm ... two very famous double albums from that year I can think of ... one was 'alive,' the other was a graffiti-strewn masterpiece.
(It's really familiar, but I need a clue about the song ... )
It's a pretty immoral & lewd song.
