When this song came out I thought they were mocking the Big Country bagpipe guitar sound. Seems like something Slade would do.
But yes, it's Run, Runaway.
Take it away, Greybeard!
Hi, guys, can someone perhaps take it, my hard drive has died along with everything on it (it's all backed up, but I have nowhere to put it - my OS was on there too). I'm using what little access I have to rescue as much as possible.
Edit:
I've managed to keep it going long enough to put this up:
I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

Sorry to hear that, greybeard.
I can probably put something up this weekend unless someone else wants to jump in sooner.
It's possible that the disk, itself, is not the source of my problems, but the connector to the mainboard. I've moved it to another connector and, at the moment, it's working.
Anyway, try what I've put up.

Clue: The title is the same as a big hit for an English group, which has, since, become a classic track. Both songs were released in the same year (early 70's) and both were firsts - one being the first single on their record label and the other being their first album.

Time for a clue or 2:
If your looking under "Aardvark", it's exactly the wrong place to find this group.
Pollox' brother is sweeter and more refined.

Man, now I'm lost in the Greco-Roman mythology wiki ...
Sorry, no idea!
Phew that was a head scratcher, but I think I've got it. :)
Brown Sugar ZZ Top?

You've got it - take it away, boxy
Gabba, google pollux and you'll get caster - also white sugar, which is "refined" and sweeter than brown sugar.

That should be relatively easy, I just have to think of something to record.

LOL, nice one boxboy. :D
Thanks Gabba. :)
No guesses, folks?
Maybe I'll remaster it and upload a mono version as well.
:)

I've got nothing ready ... might be able to post over the weekend. Was thinking someone else might grab this one.
