Ooooo tough choice.

Personally I like playing my acoustic as is, no mic's, I have an electro/wired acoustic and a semi acoustic as well.

So I would have to say Electro acoustic.

Practice: Standing or sitting?

Of the two, rosewood - but I love my one-piece maple neck Strat the best ;-)

(Odd thing, till fairly recently I'd have always said just rosewood (my Tele's rosewood) but I'm coming to appreciate the Strat's neck more and more...)

Yeah floating bridges are awesome.

Awww man that depends on the guitar!!

I love the jack on the side for my semi, because the whole look of the guitar would be spoiled if it was on the front.

Some electrics look sexy with a recessed.

Can I say both?

Single-coil - I did have an off and on affair with a nice cherry SG for a few years, but otherwise all single-coil...

Keep your guitar out, on a stand, or put it to bed in its case every night?

I'd like to have a VERY on affair with that SG, still got it?

I have to confess mine are out, I've got a couple of acoustics on the wall and the rest are on stands. Mostly to save space and for safety because most of my guitars came in soft cases.

Gibson SG old style or Gibson SG Supreme ?

No, I haven't, Pet... it was a casualty of a cash-flow problem around 16 or so years ago. I still miss that guitar! Of all the twin-humbucker axes, that's the one that does it for me...

so of course the answer is, old style - no maple allowed anywhere near! - and the old slim tapered neck with trapezoids - ideally, that little pickguard. (Mine was around 1970 I think - still a nice neck, but the bigger pickguard.)
