I am playing Afternoon Delight by Starland Vocal Band and in the song is the following progression.
A,D#dim,Bm
The fingering I came up with for the D#dim is
X6787X
This is kind of hard to get to from the A and then go to Bm
Is there another voicing that is esier or an alternate chord I can use?

LOL,
I will only play it at home with my doors locked.
Nils, thanks for the fingering. I think I can work with that better.

Aah a pop song about an afternoon sex, what great harmony!

A to Bm could be done using a bar chord A at the fifth fret, then slide up to the seventh fret and lift one finger to make it a minor.

Or use the abbreviated version of Bm = X X 4 4 3 2. I've played that song in real life, but never on the guitar  so I don't know which Bm they are using.

E doesn't = MC2, E = Fb

I think that D#dim chord should probably be an A# dim played X1202X , Then a barred Bm chord. I've seen an A#dim connect an A to a Bm about a thousand times. I"ve NEVER seen a D#dim between an A and a Bm. The voice leading just doesn't work right.
