Does anyone know what scale that was written in?
The one that sounds good.
(just a little suggestive philosophy to think about)
I've never heard the song, but from a quick look at the tab, http://www.tabalorium.com/tabs/7878.html , it appears to be in straight A natural minor.

Actually it's in Dorian Am (G/Em)
"Support music, not rumors." Chuck Schuldiner.
Sorry, my mistake.
The song is in A minor except the Chorus that is in A Minor Dorian (because the vocals complete the D5 chord to D major).

Well, I've never heard the vocals.

Progression for verse is Am-Em-D (which key is this?)several times and then it gets C-G-Em-G on (simply C) "The old man then prepares..."
On the chorus, it is (Am-C-G-Em-Am-C-G-E) X 2, so I guess its Am on the first cycle, and A harmonic minor on the second (because of E Major).......
I'm sure I'm wrong in my guesses......hehehe......so plzzz correct me.....
Thnx,
NA.
