In my article it was a joke.  I've never heard of the other scale.

That's what you get for having such a serious reputation!  ;)

How about a bi-polar diminished double helixolydian (with #9)?

Peace

What about C dodeca # and it's relation to C major?

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

Didn't Warren Zevon use the Pentagram scale on "Werewolves of London"?

When I go off to my private study with my guitar I like to use the "bathroom scale".

Musen,

What was he doing, weighing up the opposition?   :)

Well i thought it was a joke too ;D
till i searched it up in 'google groups' and got this paragraph!
"
I heard that Ritchie Blackmore and Vinnie practised occultism in a
small barn near Birmingham once. It was said that a new guitar scale
was born that night, and horrible powers were unleashed. The secret
pentagram scale has been since used by Kerry "I mosh like a bald
pigeon" King of Slayer and Mick "I used to be David Bowie's
sister-in-law" Mars of Motley Crue. But only Yngwie _J_Malmsteen and
Steve Vai can play the extremely difficult hexagram scale that the
witches use in Wicca parties.

Looks to me like somebody is tasting the waste.

Or sampling, for that matter.

Our bass player at church likes to venture into the Richter scale.

I wanted to learn to play guitar really badly and I think that I have succeeded.
