To figure out a chord, first you name the notes:
5xx065 = A-G-F-A
2xx220 = F#-A-C#-E
3x0230 = G-D-A-D-E
Next, put the notes in a logical order. Most chords will have a major or minor third on the bottom, so you get:
F-A-G = 1-3-9, or Fadd9 (no fifth)
F#-A-C#-E = 1-b3-5-b7 = F#m7
G-D-E-A = 1-5-6-9 = G6/9
As far as what key they're in... they're not. You have four sequential half steps, E-F-F#-G, and that doesn't occur in any one key.

Noteboat,
Thanks for that explination that will help me out as well. Additional question for the G6/9 (G-D-A-D-E) if we added the B (2nd fret of the A string) would it still be the same name with just a different voicing?
Yes - G6/9 has notes G-B-D-E-A, so your original voicing leaves out the third... replacing the D note with B gives you the full chord voicing.

Thanks, learning theory will take the rest of my life, won't it?
