I just started playing guitar recently and im having a problem with the introduction

here is the tab:

the only part im having trouble with is the very last part i hold down the 3343xx but when strummed it sounds terrible and i cant figure out why, the rest of the intro sounds perfectly fine

I think you meant to write XX3433 (instead of 3343XX)

The chord sounds good to me.
A barred G would be 355433

So just take your pinky off of the D string to get the G7.

Here's a picture of an F7 chord:

Slide that fingering up (towards the bridge) two frets. (the pinky is off the the string)

It's a G7, but it's a little strange fingering and it requires quite a grip on that 4 string barre

What I do when I teach it to beginners, is make it a 2 finger chord. How?

3x30xx

Later I'll make it a Jazz type voicing

3x34xx

Hope this helps. I don't use tabs at all, but I teach and transcribe by ear (25 years experience).
