While learning to play Dust In The Wind, the tabs for the Pick UP doesn't appear to match the mp3 example. The part I am confused is going from Am to G/B, when playing the example it seems that there is something missing while following the audio sample.

Has anyone else had difficulties interpeting the pickup section?

The Am starts with a pinch of open A and B first fret
Then D second fret, G second fret
Pinch again open A and B first fret
Then pinch A second fret, B third fret

But there appears to be something missing between Am and G/B

Is the audio for the pick up for the alternate (pick up 1A)? He added two notes according to the way back machine. Pinches become 1/16th notes followed by an A and a G respectively.

Kansas guitarist Kerry Livgren wrote this after reading a book of Native American poetry. The line that caught his attention was "For All We Are Is Dust In The Wind." This got him thinking about the true value of material things and the meaning of success. The band was doing well and making money, but Kerry realized that in the end, he would eventually die just like everyone else. No matter our possessions or accomplishments, we all end up back in the ground.
