I've been struggling with a couple of songs, then suddenly I blended them together together with an old song. I realized they all was about the same topic. I've recently joined a gospel choir. This is a pop song with gospel flavor.
All suffering will end
Verse 1:
I've been waiting for this day to come and now it's here.
Among dim shapes, once clear,
I lost my way the end was near.
Chorus:
We better, we better
we better believe all suffering will end.
We better, we better
we better believe!
Wounds will heal and hearts will mend.
Verse 2:
I was so, so affraid, now I'm a pioneer.
I know there's a prize if I conquer fear.
Into the unknown land I steer.
Chorus
Verse 3:
Airport security search our underwear looking for grenades.
There are bird flu and AIDS,
refugees hunted by murder brigades.
Chorus
Bridge:
Lead: I thought life was hell in disguise.
Choir: The demon broke you down with lies!
Lead: From the ashes a new world will rise.
Choir: Now you see through new eyes.
Lead: If I keep on believing!
Choir: Yes keep on! Keep on!
Chorus
