This is the second song I have ever written. It pertains to the controversy surrounding the seal hunt in eastern canada. It has a very ... eccentric... style of prose, and was inspired by the spastic lyrics of Alexisonfire's S/T debut album. This song is intended to be screamed (or guttural death metal vocals) so keep that in mind.

I don't expect people to agree with the politics, and you may find the imagery or position a little extreme. Of course, I definitely went over the top on purpose. Song titled was inspired by a t-shirt hell shirt; it had a picture of seals at a disco with the words "Don't Go Clubbing Baby Seals". I thought it was funny.

I'm really only looking for feedback on the lyrics themselve, not your opinion of my politics. That should be saved for another forum.

Don’t Go Clubbing Baby Seals

PETA presumes you a precious progeny
Eskimo enemies try to escape escalating,
Hostility of hedonistic hellions
Just so you can dance,
And the young and old alike can starve?

Don’t go clubbing baby seals
You can’t be polar bear meals
When you’re dancing with
Sir Paul on the Sea Shepard

And anger accrues as angelic,
Faces are focused on from afar
Disco demolishing determined peoples
Just so you can dance,
And young and old alike can starve?

Conga cuties caught
By fatbodied fisherman on the bread line
Dispute inciting dissidents destroying
Just so you can dance,
And the young and old alike can starve?

Don’t go clubbing baby seals
You can’t be polar bear meals
When you’re dancing with
Sir Paul on the Sea Shepard

So dance, go ahead and dance
And we’ll shoot you in the head
