Newbie with 1st song - opinions and help please!

Hi guys ive been playing acoustic guitar for about 18 months

I thought hey why not write something so I came up with this - took me about an hour altogether to get it to this (over a few days)

Would love to hear some peoples opinion on lyrics and structure.
I cant sing to save my life so I guess you will have to try and guess how it sounds?!?

Strumming rhythm fairly standard - more up down up down strokes in chorus if that makes sense.

Thanks people go easy this is my first attempt!!! Oh and didnt know if it sounded nicer with Capo on 2nd fret.
