a terrible terrifying tremor
shaking my body like humor
sicker than a tumor
it flows through my thoughts
leaving me distraught
and hurt like being shot
where's this coming from
why wasn't i ready for it
leaving me numb
my tongue turning dumb
n my insides feeling like sh!t
a splinter in my mind
digging deeper
digging deeper this time
hiding, running, trying to find a shield
truth is the sword i wield
until these scars can be healed
on the eardrums i keep peeled
for bombs blind wandering this minefield
like the vertigo of no gravitational field
drenched in a cold sweat
like waking from a nightmare
you can't forget
but i haven't woken up yet
and i'm dreaming of despair
