What is a bands chance truthfuly in hitting it big?
How does sending a demo to record labels work?
What do record labels do when they recieve your demo?
anyone know?
How would I go about making a demo that ALL record labels would except?
What are the requirements of a demo, to live up to the expectations of the 'Big' record labels?
like Elektra or Warner Bros' or whatever?

You're a god among insects, never let anyone tell you different.

And hundreds, if not thousands of books on the subject, some reviewed on our "Reviews" page.

"Truthfully," I don't think anyone can tell you. There are so many factors involved that it's literally like trying to scientifically pick the winning lottery number.

The best thing you can do is get educated on the music business as best you can.

Hope this helps.

Peace

Don't forget about luck eh?
Every band I've researched on just happened to come across some luck.

Luck's a great thing to have - but you should never be in a position where that's what you're relying on! It's true that many artists, if not most, have had their share, they'll also tell you that they had to work to get into a place where the luck would do them good.

Peace

A book that I don't have, but want, called Everything You Need to Know about the Music Business, should answer all of those questions.

From what I know (very little), the music industry is a nasty thing, and hitting it big isn't as great as it may seem.

Still, it's where I want to go.

According to Page, all you need to succeed is complete dedication, as it says in my signature:
