Supposedly they're decent guitars. There is a flamenco model with a spruce wood top which should give you good sound, for flamenco. What is the price of these guitars?

I just ordered a Yamaha CG171SF (flamenco model) from my local guitar shop. $500 Canadian dollars. For the price, plays beautifully, good action, tone, spruce top, with a tap plate.

Waiting for it to arrive!!

Wehheeellllll I bought her yesterday - Admira flamenco.
tried the yamaha also (classical only, they didn't have flamenco) - the yamahas were heavy and built like a tank. I prefare the admiras - well built and a lot less heavy.

Man now I know what overtones are... She sounds oh so good.

I tried out an Admira Theresa a few years ago - if I'd had £500 spare at the time...

Doesn't appear to be too many classical guitarists here, let alone flamenco. I remember asking about my "picado", I got laughed off the board :?

I really like my Yamaha flamenco model. It's way better than the classical guitar I had before and it has a tap plate for doing golpes. Currently it has D'addario pro-arte hard tension strings in.

hey no offence red, I didn't get the chance to check-out the yamaha flamenco. They don't import it to israel. I was comparing the yamaha classics which were way too heavy comparing with the admiras.

my admira has half size golpeador comparing to the size of your yamaha.

can't go wrong with solid top guitars... I only have left to wonder what it would have sound if it was all solid..
