Ax-mas shopping for one daughter done

Well, I picked it up last night. Very disappointed with the setup and repair work. I plugged it in and tuned up, Sounds icky. neck relief too tight, the nut is plastic and robs the tone and the pickups are ok but could be better. They didn't dress and polish the frets like I asked, the intonation was not set. All in all, they tossed a set of strings on and handed it back to me. Needless to say I will not be doing business with them again.

On a good note, another $140.00 for the fret leveling and recrowning, a new nut and perfect setup will take care of most of it. I do have a new set of Duncan pickups I can put in it but I think I will wait to see if she will play it first.
