I was practicing today, kinda making up fingering excersises, and I found out that it's almost impossible for me to play like, say, 12th fret to 11th fret on the high e string, then b string, etc. using only my pinky and ring fingers on the <a style='text-decoration: none; border-bottom: 3px double;' href=" http://www.serverlogic3.com/lm/rtl3.asp?si=23&k=left%20hand " onmouseover="window.status='left hand'; return true;" onmouseout="window.status=''; return true;">left hand</a>. So my question is, can you do it?

Stupidity is wit for the simple-I think I made that up

If I understand what you're asking. Yes I can do it. But it did take a bit of work to get there.

Yes, but not fast enough to say, do a trill. Fast enough for most playing.

Yes. Drills like that are part of my daily warm-up.
