Hi,
This may sound dumb but I've wondering how exactly these are used - Whats the purpose of two necks? Why the 12 machine heads on one neck?

One's usually a 12 string, the other one a 6 string. Keeps you from having to switch guitars when you want a 12 string sound.
Too darn heavy for my liking :)
