Hi there,
I am currently looking into buying my first Stratocaster. I have spotted one on ebay that is in my price range, however I would like some advice as to whether people recommend it is a good guitar to have? It is Fender 50s Stratocaster (Fiesta Red) with with a maple fingerboard, tinted neck, single-ply pickguard and aged plastic parts and the three single-coil pickups and staggered Alnico magnet pole pieces that give a 50's sound. What would be a fair price to pay? I can get it for £380 but is that too much? I attach some pictures:

Thanks

You can really never go wrong with a Fender. They are an all around great guitar that will last you for years to come. If you want the best of the best I'd recommend going with the fender telecaster. It all depends on your price point though. I found this site that breaks down the telecaster pretty well. You can check it out here: http://crushreviews.com/best-electric-guitar/
