Hartke Amps?

One of my Jam buddies is a good player, but like a lot of us college students, hes on a budget.

He's stumbled across a brand of amp called hartke. They seem to be simple amps, tube preamp, solid state power amp section.

The price though looks like a steal...

Thats the 212 Combo. He's getting that.

I'm thinking about the head and cabinet maybe down the road.
The 60 Watt head is 150 and the 100 Watt head is 170.
The cabinet is 250. You can have a hybrid 100 Watt half stack for 420 bucks...

Anyone see or play these amps?
