How do I change knobs

Just wondering how do I change the knobs on my guitar, i wanna buy some cool knobs but i dont know how to take me off or anything, if it helps i have a les paul

They should just pop off witht he right amount of force, though be carefull not to use anything that will scratch the finish if you ned to pry it of. lol.

the easiest way is to use a plectrum. It should slide right under neath - the just give it a wiggle and it'll pull off fairly easily.

A good way is to take a piece of cloth and wrap it around the stem, underneath the knob. Twist the ends of the cloth a few times and then lift.

Knob comes off with no scratches to the finish.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.

As Greybeard said, either use a bit of cloth, or use some thick thread, loop it around the stem and it should cme of fairly easily.

Before you try to pull the knobs off make sure they are not the kind with set screws. Look all around the sides of the knob to see if you see any. If they have set screws you will see a small hole with the screw in it.
