I saw Kings of Leon live recently, and whilst I loved their sound in the past, I'd let them drift away recently from my more commonly played bands.

This however, was a special sound. Really glistening, yet rough at times.

Any ideas how I can find out his set up in terms of pedals/guitar/amp?

At the most basic level, something like the Sheraton II run into an AC15 will get you a great, similar sound.

I saw KOL earlier this year. Caleb was using a Matchless amp, but I could not tell what model.

!

Everywhere I've just checked says that the Ampeg Reverbrocket R-212R has ended its production line!

I am not a happy guitarist. I'm pretty sure it was the amp I was looking for, tone-wise.
