Just wonderin if anyone on this forum has this Artcore ax. I was recently looking at one in the local music store, really appeals to my eye in tobacco sunburst. Sounds good but was plugged into a bigger amp than I have. My amp is only a Peavey Blazer 15 watt practice amp . I have only been playing for 1-1/2 years so haven't played a whole lot of different guitars to make a comparison. The reviews on Musicians friend are mostly positive. Was wondering about your experience with this guitar and also if anyone knew exactly what an "artcore neck" means. Thanx for any help.

If they have an amp like your amp, try it out. If they dont, ask if you can bring your amp. How good it sounds is up to you, if you dont like it, then dont get it. With that said, i havent tried one yet but ive heard good things about the artcore series.

It's a nice guitar, but I'd really doubt that amp would do the guitar any justice...
