The best quote I can get from a dealer on a Jackson Soloist SL2HT is $1799. On Musician's Friend and elsewhere prices are quoted as high as $2k+.

Now I see this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7305019368&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT

Do I grab it?

It's new. Possibly a $400+ savings.

Anyone?

Couldn't wait for the auction to end. Damn the buy it now link.

I've been pretty much sold on the Soloist for a while. I didn't really want to deal with a Floyd Rose, so the stringthru is perfect. I've dreamed of a flame top Les Paul so when I saw this I knew this could be mine.

If it shows up as advertised, that is...NEW...this looks to be a bargain. First I can't find ANY jacksons around anywhere and when I do find any they are upwards to $1900 - $2100.

I just hope Ebay doesn't screw me.

I normally don't like Jacksons, but that is one hot looking guitar!

Congratulations on your newest "member of the family." Let us know how she plays. If she sounds as good as she looks, I'm sure you will have many happy years together (like mine).
