real nice guitar 8)
Now, there's a Fender I don't have (w/ a HB in the bridge). Oh oh...
Seriously, congrats and enjoy!!!!!!! :D :D :D
Addendum: Thought I was kidding with Mr. Green...I just looked up your guitar and it's very cool! I take it yours is Olympic Pearl in color? Is it metallic-y looking? And I see it has the LSR roller nut. Very, very nice. :D :D :D
Love and Peace or Else,

Yeah, roller-nut :D And Locking tuners!
The Olympic Pearl color is very nice, there's a little bit of silver in that white...
Olympic Pearl is like a white Car under a big sunny day! (My guitar was made in Corona, California, so I guess it's the best metaphor I could have found to describe the color! )
I tried to upload video but it didn't work... I'll try another way tomorrow

very very nice lookin guitar. hope you enjoy it!
Clau20, Nice looking strat and why did you have to wait 21 days?
They didn't have the HSS in stock so they had to order it from their Fender supplier.
Then, if Fender didn't have the model I asked for : Fender Strat HSS Deluxe, Olympic Pearl + Maple neck, it would have take longer...
I think they didn't have it in stock, so it took 21 days.
anyway, now, I got it :)
But still CAN'T post video, don't know why... :S

Hmmmmm are guitars opposite sex of their owners?

Good question, guys...
In my case, I just call 'em "My Babies." Never thought of 'em as having any certain gender. To differentiate between them, I call 'em by their model name usually (e.g., the MexiTele, the JB Strat, etc.). I've never named any of them, but I do stress "My Baby" when referring to my old Aria Pro II that's signed by Buddy Guy, Roy Buchanan, Bonnie Raitt and Robert Cray. Mostly cuz it was my first decent guitar and has been with me the longest (preferential treatment, I suppose...). Now, my question...
Do you think I'm a bad mother???
Love and Peace or Else,

Do you think I'm a bad mother???
Hi Musica! How are you? :D
Absolutely no! Because you also take care of the other babies!
In Spanish, "la guitarra" is female so I think we also consider her as female. Moreover, some poets and songwriters have written on the "curves of the guitar".
However, "el bajo" (the bass) is male.
Hi Nuno! I'm doing well, thanks. And you? :D
Thanks for your vote of confidence and for the informative post! So now I've got mostly girls (guitarra) and 4 boys (bajo). Not to mention 2 dogs (one male, one female). No wonder I'm half crazy.
Great to "see" ya, Nuno! Take good care. :D

Congrats on the new guitar, very nice.
And you look just like my niece, including the hair! :D
If you know something better than Rock and Roll, I'd like to hear it - Jerry Lee Lewis
Ok, that what I was able to put on the net for now... A switch test on Nothing Else Matters main riff (to test the 5 switch of my new Fender, and the 4 other one when I push the button on the first volume knob)
And the main riff (maybe the only riff too...) of Fly Away, by Lenny Kravitz, to test the humbucker!
I was not very comfortable with the Fender neck at that time, I'll post something else soon, if I can!

Very nice sounding! That tone when you used the HB sounded very nice, but you always had that going for you. I agree, too, that the Strat neck will take some time to cozy up to. There's just something about the Ibanez necks (like your other guitar) that makes it seem.....easier?
I forgot or never knew. What amp are you running through?
