I always wondered-slash doesn't use an OD pedal, so where does he get his amazing OD? Is it straight from the amp, or some strange secrets? Anyone know? 8)

he plugs a Les Paul into a Marshall...as far as i know that's just about itl
He's been known to use a BC Rich too. The current Marshall ads picture him with the red BC Rich from the Schwarzenegger video (can't remember the name of the song). I don't think there's anything between the axe and the stack though.
Best,

I have read that Slash uses only Celestion Vintage 30's in his cabs, not the stock Celestions Marshall cabs usually come with.

I guess it kinda proves you dont actually need a pedal to sound good.
or maybe he has onboard distortion on his les paul, OR he has a pedal hidden in his hair/hat
Here is Slash's fan site with even more information on his guitars and amps.

I see Slash was a T Rex fan. But I already knew that,
Look familiar?

Yeah, I think he uses the Marshall's power tube distortion, with just a wah.
