Hi again, I've been very OCD about this... so here's a fun jam with a backing track... Please have a listen and any tips would be awesome.

sounds good. I like the hammer ons. I have nothing to suggest.
Thanks, I am seeing some progress with my playing. I'm hoping to become a decent'ish player in a year or so with my hour/day of practice time and more on weekends.
I've listened to this recording a few hundred times and I can hear the bad parts quit obviously now - it will help me to improve.
1) Know thy fretboard. I still need to think about what will sound in key and often miss my target lol
2) I still have pentatonic shapes 4 and 5 to get comfortable with so I can easily use more of the fretboard
3) I need to be better at knowing the roots for both Maj and Min.
4) Develop that ear, as always. I should be able to follow the song, not the scale I'm in... not sure if that makes sense... What I do is play a backing (a more complex one) and stop the solo and play the full open or bar chord - like jumping right in without pause or miss. Helps me with speed and developing that ear...
For starters anyway...
