If you know something better than Rock and Roll, I'd like to hear it - Jerry Lee Lewis
Wes,
Thanks for the link – interesting video :!:
Shows the versatility of individuals getting together to produce a noteworthy performance using their talent, skills, basic amplification and four instruments (I include her voice as an instrument).

I'm missing the acoustic guitar.
Darn. :(

Everything is 42..... again.
That was a unique version of Whole Lotta Love. I thought they were very good. Just goes to show you don't need a whole mess of toys to make good music. Thanks Wes.

I first had an electric, then got an acoustic when I started lessons - I find that I rarely play the electric (and even got a POD XT to get be back into it)... Then again, even though I play in the basement by the bar and the kids are on the third floor, my son has come done to tell me I should stop playing so he can go to sleep... Actually, I have a little bathroom, in the basement next to the bar where I play and I find that if I go in there and shut the door, the sound is incredible with the acoustic... Want to pick up the electric more, but I do love that acoustic...
I'll only be down there (in the basement practicing) for a couple of minutes or so...

I learned everything I know on my acoustic. Can't imagine not having it, and that pure tone it gives out; no electricity needed. I probably play it just as much as my LP.
that was sad
A country music lover can definitely tell what is the value of an acoustic guitar.Well it rocks , it surely does.In no way an eletric can substitute an acoustic. So well to me the fast picking leads , country style strumming and the fingerpicking seems real hot !
I thought that was very good. Thanks Wes. 8)
If it was easy it wouldn't be worth doing.
That was nice. Both instruments have their place though. While that was a very well contrived acoustic performance, there is no replacing an electric in rock and no replacing an acoustic in country or folk. Theres a place for everything and everything in its place.
At this time I would like to tell you that NO MATTER WHAT...IT IS WITH GOD. HE IS GRACIOUS AND MERCIFUL. HIS WAY IS IN LOVE, THROUGH WHICH WE ALL ARE. IT IS TRULY -- A LOVE SUPREME --. John Coltrane
Thank you Wes.My acoustic is sitting closer to me than both my electrics, maybe I'm like others,It's not about solos/lead or shredding, maybe it's about the basic sound in your head.I'm pretty sure alot of Jimmys chording was done acoustic first,as an example how "Unledded" works so well with him and Robert.
GG
I am waiting for him to break out the bow!!!!!
Now thats what I'm talkin about :!: 8) It's back to the basics :D
I wonder how often they change the bass drum head on that suitcase?
