Anyone out there using a 1/2-watt, 1-watt or 2-watt tube amp? Just wondering what are some good ones to look at, even DIY kits.
Also, I've read about people hooking these up to anything from 1x8" to 4x12" cabs. :shock: How realistic is the latter, in terms of putting out enough power to drive the speakers? How loud would a 2w amp be through a 4x12 cab, and how much difference in perceived volume vs. a 1x10?
