I'm looking to fit some new pick-ups for my Ibanez guitars (Destroyer and Gio RG170) for a heavy metal sound - can anyone recommend me some good pick-ups?

Can't go wrong with EMG's. My vote for 81's.

Ibanez with d'marzio PAF pros, or evolutions would get you a steve vai or satch sound. Duncans are nice, not too much experience with them. Id go for invaders, if you go duncan. As for EMGs, my pick is the HZ series. INSANE output. (Im pretty sure all passive Pups)
