Hi, I noticed a buzzing sound when I play on the D string (on my accoustic guitar) and I tried to hear where it came from...

It cames from the tuning head... When I put my thumb on that tuner, I can feel a vibration... On the other tuner, I don't have this problem.

I tried to tighten the screws, but it didn't change anything.

What dou you think? I need a cord change?

What type of tuner is it? (are the works open or enclosed?)

If it's open, can you try to wiggle parts of it and see if they move more than the others.

If it's enclosed, can you remove the tuner and look inside it from the back? See if anything wiggles more than it should.
Maybe there is a screw inside that's loose.

Or maybe something inside is broken?

See if there is a small screw at the end of the key. It could be loose. Make small adjustments. It should still be easy to turn after you tighten it.
