Hey guys, after stupidly leavin my guitar in the care of my younger brother whilst i went on holiday, the 11th fret on my strat now has what i'd describe as a chip or a slice on it. Its as if someones given it a tap with a knife and its left it with a tiny inperfection wich cause the string to catch on it when bending. This is really annoying as it hinders performance and would probly cause the string to break after a while. I'd be realy greatfull for some help on this one, would wire wool solve it or is it gonna need replacing?
Get your guitar a fret job. Thats all it needs. Frets wear over time and fret jobs can do away with those small imperfections like the one you have. And i know what you mean about it being annoying lol but dont worry about it. Put your guitar in the care of a good tech and itll be just fine.
many thanks for the tip peesho.
