i own an epiphine special 2 and the headstock is cracked up the left side by the tuners.....and now it doesnt wanna stay in tune at all......if i put a locking nut on it would that let it stay in tune or do i just need a new guitar?
I had that happen on a Les Paul clone. I loosened the strings. glued the crack and clamped the headstock for a few days and now it's fine.

i gorilla glued mine when it happened but i dunno if its throwing off the intonation or if its the bridge.....i know i need a new bridge but wasnt sure if the headstock was what was throwing it out of tune
