Im trying to design a schematic for a double loop select pedal (Loop A/ Loop B/ Bypass). My current design is similar to this http://www.geofex.com/Article_Folders/fxswitchr/fxswitchr.htm (figure 1) but includes LEDs and a bypass switch.
However i noticed when looking at this schematic http://tonepad.com/getFile.asp?id=107 for an A/B switch pedal that each output is connected to ground when not selected.
In my design would the loop not in the circuit (the loop not being selected) need to be connected to ground in some way? Or is it as simple as just leaving it disconnected? For example in this schematic: http://www.geofex.com/Article_Folders/fxswitchr/fxswitchr.htm would FX2 loop need to be connected to ground in the current switch orientation?
