I have a les paul shaped hollowbody guitar that hums when pluged into my amp. If I touch any metal part it slightly reduces the hum. So, I took ALL the electronics out to examine them. I found that if I touch the insulated part of any wire other than ground wires, the hum will get worse. Compared to my les paul the wires seem rather small in diameter( maybe less shielding?). Do you think replacing the wires will solve my problem?
