Okay I have decided next time I change my strings I am going to shield my strat and block the tremolo. I am so excited although I have never soldered, i am going to practice and do it all myself!

Shielding a strat is a must. You'll really love the way it quiets down all the interference noise.
Blocking a trem I just don't get . . but to each their own I guess.
