I have been trying to set up my electric guitar,but i'm having issues with intonation. If i set the intonation so the open and 12th fret are in tune, the 12th harmonic is slightly flat, if i set so open string and 12th harmonic are in tune the 12th fret is slightly sharp. i can't get them all to be in tune at the same time. Please help.
This works best with fresh strings. How old are the strings on your guitar?

about 6 months, older than i thought. will change them and re-assess. Thx
Are you tuning by ear or with an electronic tuner ?
