whenever i play any 1st fret note on any string on my acoustice there is major bad sounding noise that plays insteed of the normal sound? whats wrong with it? it is on any string and it just started.

Did you do anything different recently, like change strings?
Also, when you are fretting (holding down) the notes on the 1st fret, is your finger tip right up close behind the fret, or is it more toward the nut (the white piece with the slots where the strings come over from the tuning machines?
