Hi,

Within the last couple of months i've purchased a Roland Cube 30x which I have been getting on great with. However, i've just gone to switch on as usual as there's no sound apart from loud crackling from the lead when touching onto the metal plates of my guitar.

I've tested half a dozen leads and 3 different guitars but am getting the same response. All the lights are on the amp itself so there isn't a power issue but it appears to be a connection problem.

I wondered if you could point me in the right direction as to what the problem is? As I literally played the day before for 3-4 hours non stop without any issues then when trying to switch on today this has happened.

I would appreciate anyone's thoughts on the matter.

Many thanks,
Lewis.

If you bought it recently get it in for warranty repair ASAP. The parts coverage is 1 year but labour is only for 90 days so if couple of months means 2 months then you don't have long until it runs out.
