ok so i have this Schecter c-1 plus bought used just a few weeks ago. The previous owner claimed it was only a few months old. When i got it the strings were what i assumed to be the manufactuers because they were cut perfectly at the pegs and looked pretty old. So i decided to change them with 10 gauge strings and now I have a problem with a bridge. Whenever I hit the low E string too hard it slides off the bridge. There are many things I thought of that could be wrong. The Bridge could need time to wear down, or maybe the strings were a different tension than the regular ones (I never had this problem before i changed them) anyway if any of you have seen this with your guitar and could tell me what to do I would appretiate it. Thanks

Can you take a picture of the slot for the low E string and post it? Perhaps it isn't cut deep enough?
