My tele is in the shop right now to get the saddles filed down. The guy is doing it for free. He told me that squire teles are notorious for developing saddle burrs.
Does that mean that the burrs will come back and I will have to keep filing them down?

Not nesessarily. As long as u take care of the instrument, it'll be just fine. It also depends on your guitar. Some squiers are bad, whereas most are good!
