I dont like where the strap button is at now and i found the perfect spot for it but its right behind the neck(on the body under the neck inbetween the plate and the neck) My question is, is that a placement where i could put it? It looks ok as long as i stay away from the screws holding the neck on but wanted some better opinions.

That should be fine. I've also seen people put the strap button on the neck itself.

thanks thought i would check and make sure its always better to be safe than sorry
