I bought my first guitar from a pawnshop a few years ago. The truss rod needs to be adjusted n it, but it doesn't use a hex-key. It has a weird screw on cap thing, and looks like the bottom of a screw. Here are a few pics-

I can't really see what you mean "like the bottom of a screw". Most Washburn Lyon guitars use a 3/16" hex key
