Hey guys, I'm a bass player who got a free guitar the other day, but it's broken. I checked out the electronics and there are two loose wires. Here's a very, very, VERY rough drawing of what it looks like. There are two spots that look like there was solder there on the toggle switch, but I'm not sure. Also, if that is where they go, does it matter which one goes where? Sorry for the lack of info, please ask if you need a better description. Thanks a lot for any help!

Looks like they're both ground wires, and both are connected together at the volume pot so it shouldn't matter which goes where. One definitely has to go to the output jack, on the terminal that connects to the outer sleeve of the jack. I'd have to see the toggle switch, but if there's a ground terminal on it that's not grounded, that's where the other one goes.

Hmmm. 2 pickups, and a switch in the same cavity...
Sounds like it might be wired similar to a telecaster.

Try this

I wrapped a newspaper ’round my head
So I looked like I was deep
