When I change my guitar strings I have seen different ways of winding them around the tuners. Can anybody tell me the best way to do this or give me a website that explains this. It seems like everybody has a different way of doing it. Thanks.

Visit this site put together by one of the forum members:

And go for "option 3" under the restringing section.

"Everybody got to elevate from the norm."

I wrap mine around three times before I push it through the hole.

I just have to be different! I make one wind above the tail, coming through the hole, and aim for one wind below the hole. The two winds tend to clamp against the string, coming throught the hole and hold it tight. The tail is bent upwards, out of the way and, after a while, when I'm certain there's going to be no slippage, gets cut back to about 2cm.

I started with nothing - and I've still got most of it left.
Did you know that the word "gullible" is not in any dictionary?

That is the most surefire way to lock the strings. It is one of the options on my site.
