Still bravely fighting fate but slowly songs are starting to fall together. A clumsy translation between the brackets, for who cares. Feedback very much appreciated.
Is het zomer of lente (is it summer or spring)
Wat maakt het ook uit (What's the difference)
De scheurkalender zegt maart (the calender says march)
Maar dat is vanwege het plaatje (but that's because of the picture)
Vier muren van traag steen (four walls of slow rock)
Een dak van slordig hooi (a roof of disorganised hay)
Het is er niet druk (It's not a crowded place)
maar wel altijd fijn (but always nice)
En vredig (and peacefull)
Dat is hoe het moet zijn (that's how it should be)
Op een dag (one day)
Als je niks meer weet (when you know nothing anymore)
Van wie je bent (of who you are)
En hoe het was (or how it was)
Surprising as always, the vocals sound moody and foreboding and fit the music very well.
"And above all, respond to all questions regarding a given song's tonal orientation in the following manner: Hell, it don't matter just kick it off!"
-Chris Thile
Seems I don't know anything anymore.....leastways, I don't know what to make of this. It's.....interesting....but I often get this feeling, listening to your work, that it's meant to be part of a much bigger whole or concept - kind of like looking at a couple of square inches of a painting. Classy, well played and nicely recorded though!
:D :D :D

"Sometimes the beauty of music can help us all find strength to deal with all the curves life can throw us." (D. Hodge.)
Cool track.
How do you get that edgy sound to the voice?
