i wrote this song, play the guitar, and sing it. this is the recording from my band's demo. unfortunately, the solo's not very loud, but you can hear it. please tell me what you honestly think. like, dislike, don't care, whatever.

i've also downloaded the other songs from the demo. they're all sung by tim, the keyboardist.

The recording quality needs some work, I can't hear the vocals well enough to make out the words.

What I can hear though, is the melody/harmony and it sounds pretty darn good! The guitar parts sound great, the music is good, I like the sound.

From what I can hear, the guitar solo sounds good. Maybe a fumbled note or two? I'm really not even sure, it's hard to hear. Like the tone, not what I like to play, but I liked it just the same. I think with the solo, be careful with the repeated high parts, they can sound a little iffy.

All around I liked it, I liked the ending, nice job. The only real problem was the recording quality.

yeah, it was all one take, with a mic on the vocals, and all our amps pointed at the other mic, recorded in a basement... so not exactly studio quality.

You might want to try recording, say, the drums first. Then, the guitar, then the bass, and then the vocals. All seperately, that might help the sound quality.

Sounds pretty good, the more you record the better the sound quality will be ( you will get better at recording) How are you recording this ? the songs are great, I really like the road to Eden :D Like taso said, you should re-record it after awhile, But i like the live feel, so recording it as a band is cool also. but i think its freakin great 8) 8) 8) I love the arrangement also :D -the dog

NICE! Good work.

My only suggestion is that you might want to build the intensity of the lead vocals a bit as the song progresses. I did hear that in the backup vocals, where they reach a little higher and build the emotion. I don't think you need to overdo it in the lead vocal, but I'd like to hear the intensity increase some.

I think it's great.

And when I'm feelin' blue, the guitar's comin' through to soothe me ~
