Wow! That was amazing! (although there wasnt actually any shred) What did you use to record that? Was that all you with a drum machine or was it a band?

Sorry to say it, but from you ‘advertising' that as ‘shred', I got bored really quick. Not to say I am into that type of stuff, but controlled emotion is……… well…… controlled emotion.

Yes, nice playing, but ‘shred', NO. Uh….. Welcome to the 21st century yourself.

Sorry if I'm being harsh, but most people have a problem with false advertising.

Again, nice playing! Sounded cool!

lol, easssssssy there tracker.

No, it's not shred. No one is challenging your ability to shred, or play fast, or anything else that some consider musically important that goes way beyond my comprehension. I'm sure you CAN and DO shred, but this isn't shredding.

What t is however is very nice playing. Very nice vibrato, nice lines. Sounds beautiful, very well done. This isn't my kind of music at all, but I still appreciate it. The guitar has a lot of feeling/emotion in it.

Nice work.

I'm am really happy you didn't take that the wrong way!

You have a great talent for the style. I love metal myself, but when you said shred, well...... you know the rest.

I really did enjoy that sound clip and I wish you the best of luck in the future!

Thanks.I used an Xt for the recording,But I just bought an Ampeg Vh140 c amp

for recording...so I should sound like a real metal player...lol

I am looking for a great mic..but the amp makes the Xt look like a kids toy..

Joey,

Nice stuff I really liked it. You real sound good for playinf for only 4 years.

What scales are you playing? Do you take lessons or are you self taught?

"It's all about stickin it to the man!"
It's a long way to the top if you want to rock n roll!

Selftaught,I started teaching in my first year .

within 10 months I was teaching guitar....I make all my own scales and melodies..I have never read any tab ever...

This song took 7 months to make...it was a pain in the assplacine these note in order.I would love to just go balistic but the music would not let me..lol

now I get to make another..but this time it will be done with an amp..

Nice. My only complaint is that the mix is muddy. I didn't hear any bass in there whatsoever. The drums are drowned out by the guitars altogether. Maybe a bit too much verb on the rhythm guitars (it sounded like room verb but I think you may have added it) The mix seemed generally too loud to me. Better stereo placement might also help to define the seperate instrument. Your short solo was tasteful. The general feel of the song was good. Again, I have to say. All should be taken with a grain of salt. It's only my opinion.

Ofcourse you don't, you just don't know the official names. Anyway, nice playing, a job well done! 8)
